Zala Tomašič is a Member of the European Parliament from Slovenia. Before her election, she worked in Slovenian diplomacy and within European institutions, building on her studies in political science and economics in the United States and a master’s degree in international relations from King’s College London. In the European Parliament, she focuses on competitiveness, digital transformation, and the green transition.
EPP Women (European’s People Party) is an official association dedicated to the advancement of women in the European Union. The association consists of members of likeminded European parties and is led by its president, Mrs. Mairead McGuiness. The association forms a unified front to fight for equality between men and women in the treaty of Lisbon.
