With this strong statement EPP Women is proud to officially publish our adopted Resolution on combating violence against women in politics and public life.
Violence against women in politics and public life is not an individual tragedy but a systemic assault on democracy. We therefore call on all European institutions and political actors to act decisively to ensure that women in politics and public life can speak, decide, and lead free from fear, harassment, and violence all over the European Union and beyond!
